Questions

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?

No. Only six inputs are needed for quotes: your sex, birth date, the death benefit you want, preferred years of coverage, your health rating (in basic terms), and tobacco use. Those details alone produce carrier quotes. Your full name, home address, and complete medical information remain private unless and until you submit an application.

Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?

Rates shown here reflect each carrier's quote for the health classification you chose on the form. Following underwriting by the carrier, your actual premium may be confirmed, upgraded, or adjusted based on their evaluation. All information on this site is educational; it represents neither an insurance contract nor a guaranteed price.

What happens when I click Apply?

You enter your full name, and the application launches with your provided responses already filled in. You work within the carrier's secure application interface. Pause whenever you need and come back later; digital signatures finish the process. Susman Insurance Agency, certified in California (License 0B75129), manages this process.

Will I need a medical exam?

That depends on the specific carrier, the benefit size you're requesting, and your individual health information. Some carriers can approve qualified applicants immediately; each quote specifies the exam requirement level for that option.

Is a longer term better?

Term insurance bridges the gap during vulnerable years—when you owe money on a home, have kids depending on your income, or carry business debt. Bigger term lengths involve larger monthly payments but keep your rate locked in for longer. Use the quote system to see how premiums scale across 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30-year periods.

Does this site sell my information?

Correct—we don't. Our quote engine doesn't gather names or phone numbers. Your information is never bought, sold, traded, or given away. No cookies track you on our site. Check the privacy section for a comprehensive breakdown of what we collect and how it's used.
